What if I don’t have a horse?

No problem at all! You can lease a horse for the optional trail ride for an additional $110. These horses are safe, well-trained, and suitable for groundwork and optional trail riding. Just select the horse lease option during checkout. There will be horses available for experiential exercises on the ground whether you choose to participate in the trail ride or not.

Do I need to have horse experience to attend?

No prior experience is necessary. This retreat is designed for women at all levels, including beginners. The groundwork activities are gentle, guided, and focused on building trust and confidence—both in you and your horse.

Can I bring my own horse?

Yes! Your registration includes a stall for your horse. You’ll be responsible for bringing your horse’s feed and basic supplies. A recommended packing list will be sent after registration.

Is this retreat about riding or groundwork?

This retreat integrates equine-assisted learning with experiential exercises to help you build leadership, confidence, and connection. The retreat is about you and your needs, allowing the horse to participate in your learning experience. All exercises will be performed at your comfort level. There will be an optional trail ride for those who feel ready to ride—but riding is not required.

Your $1495 registration includes:

2 nights lodging (shared room)

All meals from Friday Dinner to Sunday lunch

All retreat sessions and materials

Is there a private room option?

Yes! You can upgrade to a private room for an additional charge (limited availability). Select this during checkout if available.

What should I bring?

You’ll receive a full packing list via email after you register. Essentials include weather-appropriate clothing, boots, toiletries, water bottle, journal, and supplies for your horse if you’re bringing one.

What if I have special dietary needs?

We will do our best to accommodate basic dietary needs such as vegetarian or gluten-free. Please indicate this on the form during checkout, and we’ll reach out with confirmation.

What if I need to cancel?

Retreat payments are non-refundable but transferable. If you can’t attend, you may gift or resell your spot to another participant. Alternatively, you can attend a scheduled retreat at a later date. Just contact us to coordinate the transfer.

Will I be required to share personal stories or emotions?

You are encouraged to participate at your comfort level. This retreat offers a safe, supportive space for growth, but no one will be pushed to share beyond what feels right.
